About Us
As part of this global initiative, SDSN Kazakhstan was launched on June 8, 2022, at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy, to mobilize expertise and resources from academia, civil society, the private sector, and government to promote sustainable development by fostering collaboration, research, and practical solutions at local, national, and global levels.

A nationwide survey captured the opinions of 3,295 individuals across 17 regions and three major cities in Kazakhstan.

Only 20% of respondents reported a good understanding of SDGs, indicating a need to increase public awareness and engagement with these global objectives.
Top Priority:
Quality Education (71%)
Quality Education (SDG 4) emerged as the top priority, highlighting its significance in Kazakhstan's sustainable development journey.
