  • Dr. Kamilya Yessimbet
    Postdoctoral researcher within the SDGnexus Network project at the Graduate School of Public Policy at Nazarbayev University. She holds a PhD in Physical Climate Science from the University of Graz, Austria. Her academic background includes climate and atmospheric physics, satellite remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and the analysis of extreme weather events. Her current research focuses on climate and water-related risks in Central Asia, particularly Kazakhstan.

  • Symbat Ibadulla
    Research Assistant at SDSN Kazakhstan and second-year Master in Public Policy student at the Graduate School of Public Policy, Nazarbayev University. As part of the SDGnexus Network Project, she contributes to comparative studies on water governance, including global analysis of water codes and groundwater regulation.
