This project aims to develop a roadmap project for the critical metals industry to facilitate the practical implementation of policies necessary for collaboration at the local as well as international levels. In the global transition from fossil fuels to clean energy technologies, there is a growing demand for critical metals that are essential for clean energy technologies.

Kazakhstan possesses vast reserves of these critical metals and has national policies and international agreements in place. It is expected that direct beneficiaries, including government organizations, industrial companies, and academic institutions, including SDSN members, will actively contribute to shaping the critical metals roadmap, driving economic growth and sustainability.
