About the conference

In 2015, the United Nations Member States adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, establishing a shared global framework for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While progress has been made in several areas, the current pace of implementation remains insufficient to achieve most of the SDGs by 2030.

The international conference "Accelerating the SDGs: Science, Partnerships and Action" is designed to serve as a global platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge, the presentation of innovative solutions, the development of strategic partnerships, and the promotion of practical initiatives that can accelerate progress towards the SDGs in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The conference will bring together representatives of government, universities, research institutions, international organizations, the private sector, youth, and civil society to foster dialogue, strengthen collaboration, and advance evidence-based solutions for sustainable development.
